Depending on the procedures needed, your stay may be longer. Please speak with our team to arrange your visit and any necessary pre-operative testing (such as an EMG/NCV test).

Air Travel Tips

  • Set up round-trip wheelchair service through your airline if you are in any pain.
  • Book your plane ticket in advance to save on cost.
  • If you have any medical conditions that may restrict your ability to fly, or if you are at risk for DVT/blood clots, you must make Dr. Bregman aware of this before travel.
  • You must have someone accompany you to the hospital or surgery center — you cannot drive after surgery.

Dr. Bregman typically uses the following facilities — all within a 3-mile radius of the office:

  2. San Martin Dignity Hospital
  3. MICOE Surgery Center

Important Note on Surgical Grafts

Dr. Bregman often uses grafts such as stem cell / placental tissue or nerve grafts for the surgeries he performs, and these are not covered by insurance. If you would like him to use them during your surgery, you will need to pay cash. Please let him know in advance as this must be ordered ahead of time and will also affect where your surgery is performed.
